Divine

Divine or divinity is a word used commonly to describe copious circumstances. If you have food at a restaurant and it tastes “divine”. You are out for a trip and you come across beautiful scenic places you say “divinity at its best”. You are blessed with a baby, you have stepped into motherhood; on asking you just say “I feel divine”. Not to miss out your first kiss, first love etc…These were just few instances but I am sure we all are so fanatical by divinity.

Divine is associated with peace. This is what I feel and I have always felt in my entire life. A moment that is unexpected, unfelt before, gives pleasure ignites your emotions positively is a divine feeling. There are plenty of words oxford dictionary has given, but this word seems to be overused and overrated. Don’t you think so? Honestly, the word has some magical spheres around. It relates directly to the supreme, God.

Now when asked about God, each individual seems to have their own imagination. Jesus, Allah, Raam, Krishna, Ganesha, Kul Devi etc. They are plenty to name, but what I feel is God is your mind. When they say God is the supreme soul for all the living entities, they are right. The names, the stories behind the Gods, the belief .. all are powerful imagination of the creative human mind. A strong and firm intuition of sensing an immortal source of energy. That energy is the mind. Start to think about all the good things, leave selfishness, greed and cruelty. You will start to feel “Divine”.

The more you train your mind to control negative emotions and build positive thoughts, more close you move towards spirituality and divinity. All these lines what I am writing is heartfelt. Help a poor feed his family, support a child for education, serve the old or just water the plants or feed the animals. I am sure those who would have done any of these will relate to the feeling of content.

Charity starts from home! Similarly divinity starts from home too! Love your family, understand the differences they have, stop demanding and start serving…You will see how life will turn more and more divine each day not just for you, but for everyone around.

I have started this divine journey. Have you? Do share your experiences and thoughts.
